Our Mission
At Piedmont Interventional Pain Care, PA, we are dedicated to treating pain conditions utilizing the most current medication and therapies. We do this in a pleasant and caring office environment with the purpose of providing pain relief for acute and chronic pain conditions.
Our entire staff is very focused in patient care and comfort. We are dedicated to helping our patients return to a better quality of life following an accident, injury or other ailment contributing to pain.
Our Medical Director, Dr. Robert Wilson, II, is the founder of Piedmont Interventional Pain Care. Dr. Wilson is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is trained in the latest pain management techniques and therapies and was the first in the Southeastern United States to implant a spinal cord stimulation system with a three lead array.

Dr. Wilson is an avid public speaker providing information to the public about the latest pain treatments. He also travels across the United States speaking to medical professionals for Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology dedicated to alleviating pain, restoring health and extending life for millions of people around the world.
Our Nurse Practitioner, Elizabeth Ann Wood, MSN, APRN, BC, has a Nursing Board Certification in Pain Management. She works in tandem with Dr. Wilson and provides patient care and follow-up.
